Outer Banks: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Steve Greene indieWire Maybe it's a show that's still trying too hard at points, but it's easy to imagine that fans of "Outer Banks" watching Season 2 will find much of what they're searching for. Rated: B- Aug 5, 2021 Full Review Outer Banks: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Allison Keene Paste Magazine If you don't want to broach the issue of race here, then don't tie the treasure to slavery. But if you're going to make that link, you have a responsibility to actually talk about it and the implications. Rated: 4.8/10 Jul 30, 2021 Full Review Outer Banks: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Gwen Ihnat AV Club The real draw of Outer Banks is its sense of fun and outlandish adventure-like an older Goonies with more death-defying stakes attached. As someone once said, stupid things have positive outcomes all the time. Rated: B- Jul 30, 2021 Full Review Outer Banks: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Sarah Knight Adamson Sarah's Backstage Pass I'm enjoying the camaraderie of the teens and their problem-solving in working towards a goal. Be prepared; it's ultra-drama. Rated: 3.5/4 Aug 24, 2021 Full Review Outer Banks: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (5) Kimberly Ricci Uproxx The way it's all packaged together, however, makes it slick enough that it's irresistible to all ages. Don't feel guilty if you feel a little too old for this show before you begin, because that bonkers mystery will keep you clicking. Aug 9, 2021 Full Review Outer Banks: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (6) Paul Dailly TV Fanatic It was a compelling beginning to the season, and the fact that Terrence, Stubs, and Cleo turned on them came out of nowhere. Abby W Season two of Outer Banks was definitely thrilling to watch. It seems like none of the characters can keep themselves out of trouble, but it was cool to see how they wanted to get the cross for Pope. At the beginning, it was sad to see John B's friends mourning over his "death", but it was sweet to see them reunite. Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/20/24 Full Review Brett L OBX season 2 defiantly was a step back from OBX season 1. Don't get me wrong, I still liked our core characters. There journeys and growth together and induvial is decent. And the Royal Merchant that the group is after this season is an ok story line I suppose. I also did like the most moments of the first few episodes when John B and Sarah where on there run alone together. But what plagues this season is its lack of realism and it's far-fetched story. Honestly no real teenager goes through what our group in this show does. That and the fact that any and all logic is thrown out the window. For instance when Sarah quite literally dies from a gun shot wound, she just magically comes back to life because John B cries and moans and wails. Like seriously? The writers must think its audience is dumb. Speaking of writers, the writing/scripts got worse this season to. Things felt forced (like certain character relationships) and contrived and lazy. Overall, and season that had good moments and some good conflict. But it was held down and slowed by poor writing and fake ass conflicts. Rated 3/5 Stars • Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/08/24 Full Review Christopher M And the mystery continues, adventure at its best and Madelyn Cline continues to look beautiful. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/07/24 Full Review Kerry D Better than season one. Didn't mind watching this season. Not great but better than a lot of shows. Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/30/24 Full Review Steph N I stopped watching this show with S2E2. The errors they make are just ridiculous by now. The author artificially added them just so that the story can proceed. It's just annoying to watch now. Rated 1/5 Stars • Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/16/23 Full Review Vipul K Naa bro...after what kie or whatever her name was did in episode 2 for no reason at all..it made me drop this..there was absolutely no reason or motivation for her to shout at that point but the writer wrote her so dumb in that situation..its so stupid..the 1st season was good..2nd was just so disappointing with kie..
