At Cox Monett Hospital, you’ll find all the care you need in one place, close to home. At our 75,000 square foot hospital, you’ll find a full-service level 3 stroke and level 3 STEMI center emergency department, on-site surgery, sleep medicine, radiology with in-house MRI and a 64-slice CT scanner, pharmacy and diabetes care, as well as enhanced women’s care with 3D mammography. Attached to the hospital is a 27,000 square foot medical office building housing physician clinics.
Visitor Parking
All visitors and patients are encouraged to park in front of the hospital’s main entrance. CoxHealth Monett Clinic patients are encouraged to park in front of the clinic entrance. Emergency patients park in front of the ER entrance.
Cafeteria and Family Meal Service
The cafeteria is open 6:30 a.m.–5 p.m. Vending machines are available, and a daily lunch menu with prices is posted outside the cafeteria. Family meal trays are available for purchase through the cafeteria so you can eat with your hospitalized family member.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner trays may be purchased in advance through the cafeteria cashier at a cost of $3.75. Pediatric patients (12 years and younger) may receive one free tray per meal for their guest of choice. The cafeteria is located on the first floor by the main entrance of the hospital.
Gift Shop

Patients and guests have access to our free high-speed wireless internet. To connect, search for available networks and select CoxGuest. A password isn't required.

Rapid Response Team
For emergency needs please press the "Staff Assist" button on the wall at the head of the bed.
Reasons to Call the Rapid Response Team
- Weakness in the face, arms, or legs
- Chest pain or a fast heartbeat
- Change in the color of the skin to pale or gray
- Sudden sweating
- Difficulty walking or speaking
- Change in alertness
- Less awake than normal or agitated
- Sudden loss of consciousness or fainting
- Bleeding or a seizure
- Any change in the way they look or feel
When to Call the Rapid Response Team
- If you feel the patient's medical condition is quickly getting worse
- If you aren't able to get help by calling for the nurse
Telecommunications Device for the Deaf
Ask your nurse for assistance.
Medical Durable Power of Attorney
- An advance directive says what should be done if you are no longer able to make decisions.
- A durable power of attorney for health care lets you name a person to make decisions about your health care if you cannot make them yourself.
- Give a copy to your nurse to put in your medical record. Your wishes cannot be honored until a physical copy is available.
- Our policy is to honor your advance directive within the limits of the law and mission of CoxHealth, with a few exceptions.
Bedside Precription Delivery
You can have your new prescription medicines delivered to you in your patient room. Ask your nurse or call the pharmacy.
- A pharmacy representative will visit with you to discuss your medicine.
- Insurance copays apply.
- Payment is due at the time of delivery.
- Talk to your nurse if you need help paying for your medicine.
- Ask for your prescription to be sent to the Cox Monett Pharmacy for delivery to your bedside prior to discharge.
Pastoral Care
Chaplains are available for spiritual counseling and support. Ask your nurse or contact the Pastoral Care department. A chapel is available by the Emergency Department.
Pet Therapy
A dog and their handler will visit your hospital room. They'll help provide comfort and enjoyment as you cope with health problems. Call Volunteer Services or tell your nurse if you want pet therapy. It may take 24 hours to fulfill your request.
